Do u think failure is shattering of dreams?

Do you feel failure is a set back?

Do you approach failure as a destruction phase?

Cheer up and Relax, failure is a part of life for every individual.

Failure is only a myth and not the truth

I was too in a frame of mind for many years that failure is disheartening and  an end until I learnt the real meaning of failure while explaining it to my child.

My 6 year old hesitated to give a wrong answer to her class teacher in school as it gave her an impression that she has failed in answering her teacher. Wrong answer gave her a sense of dissatisfaction.

The beginning of failure

Failure or the tendency to fail is most of the time in our mind. This mindset stops us from:

1.      Not Attempting to try new things.

2      Not putting more efforts on things that are difficult to accomplish.

3      Trying different alternatives to fulfill the task  in hand.

4.      Easily Giving up on our Self Belief.

5.      Authority and Power to allow others to judge our Success and Failure.

Introspection of Self

1)Did we Start writing in one go without any practice when we were a child?

2)Did the baking of Cake turn out to be of perfect taste and aroma in the first try?

3)Did we always score a hattrick in fielding in the cricket match and not been bowled out anytime with a 0 score?

Occurrence of failure

We fail when we do something, we try something, we learn something.

Life is nothing without trying or learning anything.

Life dries up like a flower without tasting the flavor of blossoming. If we haven’t failed, it means we haven’t tried, we haven’t taken chances, we have rejected opportunities and we haven’t invented anything.

The reason of feeling failure

1.      We are too strict and harsh on ourselves.

2.      We give up too easily.

3.      Over thinking alters our positive thoughts.

4.      When failure is taken by heart we lose interest, hope and feel we are sinking. We then destroy our self, our innovation.

Failure leads to success

When failure is introspected by the mind, we ask ourselves questions that opens up to solutions like

·         What triggered failure?

·         What steps can be taken to try again?

·         What can we do to turn failure to success?

·         What we need to do consistently?

Understanding failure

Failure and Success are designed to compliment each other. Success starts to develop when there is an occurrence of failure.

1) Reaction or Respond

Failure is not the end, but a beginning.  How we react or respond to failure is what matters the most. Failure is a natural part of life, and it is impossible to avoid it. It is a ladder to learn, grow, and become stronger.

2) The Thoughtful Choice

When we fail, we have a choice to either give up or learn from our mistakes and build it an opportunity to grow. If we choose to learn from our failures, we become more resilient and adaptable.

3) Boosts our creativity

Failure can act as a tool to boost our creativity and innovation. When we fail, we are forced to think outside the box and come up with new solutions. This can lead to new ideas and inventions too.

Failure as a stepping stone to success

The most successful people in the world have also experienced failure at some point in their lives. Thomas Edison failed over 10,000 times before he invented the lightbulb. J.K. Rowling was rejected by 12 publishers before she finally got her Harry Potter who believed in her and get the manuscript published.

These stories show that failure is not a sign of weakness. Failure demands just one thing: Not to stop and keep moving forward.

Lift others from the myth of failure

Cheer up, Support, Guide and be patient are the mantras to lift others in failure as at times only few encouraging words can help one to switch over from the mindset of failure.

Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. Failure is something we can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing.” Required reinvigorated energy, reinforced confidence and replenished enthusiasm.
