1. Shakrachrachya Temple

4. Hari Parbat Fort

  1. Also Knows as Koh- E- Maran, lies to the west of Dal Lakes.
  2. The first fortification on the site was done by Mughal emperor Akbar in 1590. Who built the outer walls as a plan for new capital Nager Nagor , later it was completed by Durrani's. ATT MOHM Khan (Afghan Governor), therefor also called as Durrian's Forts.
  3. The fort is maintained by Archlogical Survey of India (ASI)
  4. It provides a top view of Makhdoom Sahib Sharine.
  5. The Shrine at Srinagar is located at the foothills of hari parbat and new after Hazrat Sultan. Who belonged to Syed Dynasty . He hailed from Tujar Sharef . Which lies in Kashmir . He is said to has divine powers.
  6. Chatit Patshai- It is a Gurd ware and it is believed that Guru Hargobind travelled and here for few days.
  7. Sharika Temple- It holds great spiritual singnifance and is dedicated to goddess Jagdamba.
  8. Besides this area, there is a park called Waris Khan also Called Badam Veer- Almond Garden.
  9. Khanouh-E-Molla \Shah -E-Hambah.
  10. Considerd as one of the oldest Muslim Shrines Located on the bank of river Jhulem in Srinagar City.
  11. It is belived to be the first ever Mosque to be construted in Kashmir valley.
  12. Originally Constructed by Sultan Sikaner Syed Ali Hamdam also know as Shah Hamdam. Who Stayed in Kashmir and was instrumental in the spread of Islam in Kashmir.
  13. In 1840 it Caught fire hence , reconstructed by Sultan Hasan Shah in 1493 ,again in 1731, Abul Barkal Khan reconstructed it.
  14. It is an excellent example of wooden architecture that draws from Buddhist , Hindu and Islam Style.

5. Hazrat Bal Shraine

  1. Situated on the bank of Dal Lake
  2. A Famous Mosque which holds lot of importants for musilms lot of importance for mulism as according to local belief MOI - E - Mouqqadas , the Sacred hair of propet Muhmd Beared.
  3. Sadiq khan - Mughals Subedan Construted . Ishart Mahal Local long mosque in 1623. However Shah Jahan visited the place in 1634 and ordered for the conversion of the palace into prayer hall.
  4. The Construction of this shrine started in 1968 and took 11 years for completion 1974.
