How treating someone innocuously can let you down?

DEFINITION OF INNOCUOUS
The word innocuous is defined as a term which refers to a thing or a person which is intended not to cause harm ,injury or any trouble to someone .This includes when a superior faces an inferior ,an underdog against the hostile treatment and many others .This word has many misconceptions of the fact that many times ,this has created a life upset or a miracle in real life .
THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS WORD IN REAL LIFE WITH SOME EXAMPLES
The other side of this word which has a vital significance in ones life can be explained with the following two examples as follows -
1. AN ANT CAN KILL A BIG ELEPHANT
Both ant and the elephant are poles apart ,that is ant is very minute size creature whereas the elephant is a huge animal .As on the behalf of elephant's psychology we can say that the ant cannot harm an elephant but when the same ant enters the trunk of elephant ,she can bite him to death .Thus the innocuous behaviour which we had earlier observed has let us down as we have seen a complete turnaround .
2.OVERCONFIDENCE OF A BATSMAN GETTING OUT TO A PART TIME BOWLER IN CRICKET
In the game of cricket ,the innocuous part time bowler can lead to a batting collapse of a batting team which is high on confidence after seeing off the main strike bowlers of the opposition team .There have been many instances when a part time bowler (spin) have taken wickets in a heap such that the whole course of the match had changed rapidly .For example ,Sachin once bowling to Australia in a test on day 5 picking 3 wickets giving a historic win to India .Hence ,here also the definition of innocuous has failed .
CONCLUSION
To conclude ,the word innocuous is harmless but a slight lapse of concentration can make it harmful in any form .
